FAYETTE — The Northern Sun Conference has announced the 2018-19 all-conference winter sports teams. One Peacock wrestler earned a spot on the All-NSIC first team, while three more were named as All-NSIC second team performers.

Redshirt sophomore Brock Benitz (165) made his second straight appearance on the All-NSIC team after earning second team hon-ors as a redshirt freshman, Benitz earned a place on the First Team in 2018-19. Justin Folley (133), Dalton Hahn (184) and Triston Westerlund (285) were named to the All-NSIC Second Team this year.

Benitz is 13-4 this season four bonus-point wins including a pair of falls and two major decisions. He posted a 6-1 mark in NSIC duals this season. Benitz is currently ranked No. 9 in the nation at 165 pounds.

Folley is second on the team in wins and has a 26-6 record under his belt during his first season of competition at UIU. The junior has recorded a win by fall in 10 matches, while also posting a tech fall and 5 majors. Currently ranked No. 6 in the nation at 133 pounds, Folley registered a 5-2 mark against the NSIC.

Hahn leads Upper Iowa in wins with his 27-8 record. UIU’s 184-pounder is ranked No. 11 nationally and went 6-2 against the con-ference opponents.

Westerlund has made the most of his time this semester claiming a 12-3 record overall with five wins by fall. The Peacock heavy-weight earned a 6-0 record in NSIC duals. Westerlund cracked into the national rankings and is the No. 11 heavyweight in the coun-try.
