FAIRBANK — The City Council on Monday scheduled the community clean-up day for Sunday, June 9, setting the time for 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Volunteers are welcomed to come help clean up the west bank of the river bed on the south side of the bridge where debris, shrubs, and other items that tend to get caught up on the bank.

In other action at the council’s regular Monday meeting, it held a public hearing for a fiscal year 2019 budget and then approved the $213,000 change.

The fireworks permit for Fairbank Days was approved.

The aquatic center ticket fee project was on the agenda for discussion and approval but, no one was present to represent the matter. So, it was moved to a later date.

Also approved was the review of the personnel policy for deputy clerk to get a quote for future overview. Department reports wrapped up the meeting. The public swimming pool is up and running.
