The Starmont FFA Chapter recently brought donkeys into the high school gym - but it was not a senior prank.

Donkey Basketball was held in the high school gym on Wednesday, April 5 to raise money for the Stead Family Children’s Hospital in Iowa City.

Donkey basketball is a variation on the standard game of basketball, played on a standard basketball court, but in which the players ride donkeys.

The evening featured two exciting match ups: The first game featured Starmont FFA against Ed-Co FFA and the second game involved Starmont teachers against Starmont students.
