CENTER POINT - On Tuesday, JoJo Frost of CPU took to Twitter to announce his de-commitment from the University of Iowa as a track and field athlete and announced he has now chosen to continue his academic and track career with the University of Northern Iowa.

In a statement posted to the social media site Frost said, “Blessed and proud to announce that I have de-committed from the University of Iowa to commit and continue my education and track career at the University of Northern Iowa. First I would like to thank Iowa for giving me a chance when others didn’t think I had it. Secondly, I want to thank UNI for being in my corner during this entire process. Next I thank all my coaches that have gotten me to the point I am now as an athlete and as a person. Lastly I want to thank my family and the man above for pushing me to my limits and guiding me in the right direction! Can’t wait to get things going in Cedar Falls. Go Panthers.”
