VINTON – Jeremy Koopman supports many community events.

His dealership collects toys at Christmas. He donates prizes for charitable causes and then personally purchases tickets for a chance to win a prize so he can contribute even more money. Occasionally he wins a prize and once in a while it’s the one he gave to the cause.

When that happens, Koopman makes yet another donation of an equal amount of the prize.

That happened at the Benton County Conservation Two-Person Best Shot Tournament at the Vinton Country Club, Koopman had donated a mower and weed eater and then had the winning ticket. A check was written for $2,500 to Benton County Conservation.
