VSHS Group Mime receives All-State Honors

The Group Mime (l to r: Hannah McGowan, Zena Aragon, Sam Walton, Natalie Armstrong, Morgan Lang) was nominated for Large Group All-State. Their mime was titled 2020 Vision, and looked at different scenarios that occurred last year starting with school closure. At least two of the three judges who critiqued the Group at State Contest nominated them as being an outstanding performance. Only 5 other mime groups in the southeast district were nominated. All-State is the highest honor in Speech. The All-State Festival hosted at Iowa State University will not take place this year.
