Waverly-Shell Rock inducted 150 students into the National Honors Society during a ceremony on March 12.

The Waverly-Shell Rock chapter of the National Honor Society inducted 150 students during a ceremony held on March 12.

Honored were 55 seniors who are in the second year of the program, eight seniors in the first year, and 87 juniors

Former superintendent Jere Vyverberg gave the keynote speech for the event, held in the Go-Hawk Gymnasium.

In addition to the inductees, a total of 246 students received academic awards.
