NASHUA — There are signs on the back wall of Nashua-Plainfield’s gym for each sport the Huskies have. The signs are there to show each year that sport won a Corn Bowl Conference title.

However, a sign for the N-P volleyball team was missing because the Huskies have never won a conference title.

After Thursday, N-P athletic director Troy Tysdahl will have to order one after the Huskies took down rival North Butler in four sets (25-18, 16-25, 25-16, 25-22) to win their first-ever Corn Bowl title.

For more, see the 10/15 edition of the Bremer County Independent.
