Luminary bags are now available for the Butler County Relay for Life.

Luminary bags are available throughout Butler County for those wishing to have them decorated for the July 12 Relay For Life 5 p.m. at the fairgrounds in Allison.

Luminaries are done in a purple bag for “In Honor Of” for someone who has battled cancer or a white bag for “In Memory Of” for someone who has lost their battle with cancer.

Jane Kliebenstein, Shell Rock, has spent countless hours getting bags decorated for those who wish to have them already done up. You may still personalize your luminaries with names and photos if you like.

Margaret Harris, Luminary Chairperson for Relay for Life has stated that she will have bags at these additional places: Karla Voss at the courthouse, Helen Debner in Allison, Jane Kliebenstein and Rev Jamie Lynn's office in Shell Rock, Lucille Leerhoff in Clarksville and Jamie Thompson in Parkersburg.
